Worked examples / prospect packs

Local prospect packs for web agencies

Small-business websites in one city whose defects are already checked, each with the evidence an owner can verify in a minute: no working HTTPS, WordPress years out of date, email anyone can forge, a site that does not load, pages broken on phones. You open the conversation with a specific, true problem instead of "do you need a new website?".

5,963 sites with at least one defect so far, from public pages and public DNS only.

Free10 rows for any city and business type you name. Judge the data first.
$49A city's full urgent list as CSV (business, site, platform, defects, evidence, scan date), with a draft first email per business.
$149The same list, sold to no other agency for 90 days.
$149 / siteWhite-label fix: I fix the defects on a site you sign, under your name.
Order in one email. Pick a city and what you want; the button opens your email app with the order filled in.

Or write to s.n.psaradellis@gmail.com with a city and a business type. A city not scanned yet gets scanned. You pay only for a pack you decide to take, by a card invoice.

Or buy the pack now ($49 / $149 exclusive)

Card checkout on Gumroad: name the city and business type at checkout, and the re-scanned pack arrives by email within 24 hours.

  • no working HTTPS - browsers mark the site 'Not secure' and search engines rank it lower
  • the site runs WordPress 5.4, a 2020 release that has missed years of core updates - out-of-date WordPress is a common way small-business sites get hacked
  • the footer still says copyright 2019 - visitors read that as 'closed or not maintained'

Barb*********.comGoDaddy builder
  • HTTPS works but visitors who type the address land on the insecure http version
  • one stylesheet and one script on the home page load over plain http on its https version - browsers block those, so once visitors are sent to https, whatever they provide (fonts, styling, a widget) is silently missing
  • the site runs WordPress 6.1.9, which WordPress.org's own version list marks 'insecure' - 6 newer 6.1.x releases have shipped since, with security fixes the site does not have

  • the site does not load at all (timed out or refused, on http and https, twice)
  • its domain publishes no DMARC policy, so nothing tells Gmail or Outlook to refuse an email forged in your name - a fake 'our payment details changed' email from its domain arrives looking like yours

  • no working HTTPS - browsers mark the site 'Not secure' and search engines rank it lower
  • no mobile viewport tag - the site renders as a shrunken desktop page on phones, where most local customers look
  • the home page has no <title>, so the Google result shows the bare address

  • the site runs WordPress 6.8.2, which WordPress.org's own version list marks 'insecure' - 9 newer 6.8.x releases have shipped since, with security fixes the site does not have
  • the footer still says copyright 2022 - visitors read that as 'closed or not maintained'
  • 2 images over 1 MB on the home page - the page loads slowly on mobile data and Google scores it down

Supermarketo**********.orgWordPress
  • your phone number, (number), is plain text, not a tap-to-call link - iPhones guess at it, but on Android phones tapping it does nothing, so the caller has to copy it by hand, and many just call the next business instead
  • the site runs WordPress 5.0, a 2018 release that has missed years of core updates - out-of-date WordPress is a common way small-business sites get hacked
  • 2 of the site's own links are dead (404, 404)

Every row comes with a draft first email

Written from that business's own defects, in your agency's voice, for you to edit and send from your own address. Drafted by an AI model and checked against the scan; nothing in it that the scan did not find. Here is the one for the first sample row (name hidden):

Dear [Business] Team,

We noticed a couple of things on your website that could be improved.

First, your site isn't using HTTPS, which means browsers flag it as "Not secure." This can deter potential customers and also negatively impact your search engine ranking.

Second, your WordPress installation is several years out of date. This is a significant security risk, as older versions are often targeted by hackers.

We'd be happy to help you address these issues and ensure your website is secure and up-to-date. Would you be open to a brief chat about how we can assist?

Sincerely,

[Your name]
[Agency name]

Cities scanned so far

"Urgent" = something a visitor or a customer hits today: the site does not load, browsers warn "Not secure", WordPress on a release with known holes, or email that can be forged in the owner's name. Each city's breakdown (defects, business types, five anonymised rows) is on its own page: leads by city.
